KEM SAN^®

Designed specifically for pathogen control in livestock and poultry water, KEM SAN^® is a unique combination of four organic acids (Propionic, Acetic, Benzoic, and Sorbic) that is buffered to an optimal pH range of 4.7-5.7. KEM SAN is able to optimize the effectiveness of chlorine, bacterial control, and overall handling by farm personnel. KEM SAN is an EPA-registered product (No. 8596-31) and is safe and effective when used as directed.

How You Can Use KEM SAN

• High-Stress Windows: Administer in water lines during periods of stress to reduce harmful waterborne bacteria and support gut health. Cleaner water during these critical times can help improve feed conversion and boost growth performance.
• Pre-Placement Flush: Use as a pre-placement flush to prepare water lines before new animals arrive. This process reduces harmful bacteria in the water, helping prevent disease and giving your animals a healthier, stronger start.
• Storage Areas: Apply in feed, hay, silage, and grain storage areas to reduce microbial contamination and mold growth. This helps preserve nutritional quality, protect animal health, and reduce spoilage-related losses.
• Poultry Litter: Use in poultry litter to suppress ammonia levels and reduce pathogen populations. This improves air quality, enhances bird comfort, and supports overall flock performance.
