TERMOX®

Kemin’s TERMOX range — highly effective ethoxyquin-free antioxidants

TERMOX is a range of ethoxyquin-free, synthetic antioxidants, containing a synergistic blend of butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT), butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA), and propyl gallate (PG) together with citric acid. These highly effective antioxidants stabilize feed, protein meals, premix, and lipids used in animal nutrition.

TERMOX products effectively stabilize feed, protein meals, premix, and lipids used in animal nutrition. TERMOX stabilizes the complete feed and its components, protecting valuable nutrients like vitamins, pigments, amino acids, and lipids in the diet. This helps to preserve high-quality diets that can subsequently support animal health, and performance,  as well as carcass quality.

The feed industry has traditionally used single antioxidants such as BHT and BHA. However, there is substantial evidence that combining certain antioxidants allows synergy and increases the efficacy compared to the single compounds. Kemin’s antioxidant range uses a blend of antioxidant compounds to optimize efficacy and ensure oxidative reactions are mitigated.

That’s why at Kemin we’ve stepped up to the challenge by ensuring our TERMOX antioxidant range uses a blend of antioxidant compounds to optimize efficacy and ensure oxidative reactions are mitigated.

Unlike straight antioxidants, such as BHT, that are supplied in crystallized form, Kemin antioxidants are dissolved in a solvent, blended, and then sprayed onto a fine carrier. This significantly increases uniform dispersion and efficacy.
