Kem GLO™

For more than 20 years, Kemin is one of the market leader in providing quality and safe carotenoid products to the layer and broiler industry. Carotenoids, also known as pigments, are often used in commercial egg production to optimize the egg yolk color and lutein nutrition. The addition of lutein increases the nutritional value of the eggs.

Benefits of Lutein and Xanthophyll

Promotes overall eye health and function

  • Acts as a filter to protect your eyes from possible long-term effects of blue light through the exposure to sunlight, indoor LED lighting, computers, phones and flat-screen televisions.
  • Protect cells from oxidative damage and inflammation
  • Improves immune system functions
  • Supports skin health

Through its Customer Laboratory Services (CLS), Kemin offers its customers complimentary tests to validate the color and lutein values in the egg yolks. CLS analyzes feed ingredients to compare the consistency of color and lutein levels to each customer's carotenoid specification.
