How TOXFIN™ Works as a Ruminant Mycotoxin Binder

TOXFIN™ RD contains a blend of activated clays and carbons, possessing both positive and negative charges simultaneously. These activated components also possess different polarities at different pH levels. The binding is generated by ionic interactions between polar charges of both the mycotoxins and activated components resulting in binding and excretion of mycotoxins bound to TOXFIN™ RD. The formulated combination of activated binding ingredients, provide a multi-layered dipolar net to enhance adsorption capabilities under different pH conditions and binding area. The large surface area available also maximises the potential binding opportunities within the feed.
