ZyloZymeTM GA Glucoamylase for Bioethanol Production
ZyloZyme™ GA is a highly active, non-GMO glucoamylase specifically developed to enhance fermentation in ethanol production. Produced from Aspergillus niger, this enzyme efficiently hydrolyzes dextrins into glucose, providing yeast with a critical substrate for optimal ethanol output. ZyloZyme GA is effective at low dosages and helps producers maintain yield without overconsumption of inputs.
ZyloZyme GA acts by hydrolyzing dextrins—short chains of glucose units—into free glucose. This enzymatic activity occurs during the fermentation stage, supplying yeast with readily fermentable sugars and improving ethanol production efficiency. Its optimized formulation supports robust fermentation with minimal enzyme input.
ZyloZyme GA is used during the fermentation stage of ethanol production. Recommended usage levels range from 0.024% to 0.03% enzyme-to-dry corn ratio.
