Kannan Raghavan

Worldwide Vice President of Human Resources

Kannan Raghavan is worldwide vice president of human resources, a position he assumed in 2019, after 18 years with Kemin Industries.

Kannan began his career at Kemin in 2001 as a Customer Laboratory Services chemist for Kemin Animal Nutrition and Health – South Asia, based in India. He went on to serve as associate manager, then manager, of Kemin Animal Nutrition and Health – South Asia’s Customer Laboratory Services. He was subsequently promoted to product manager for TOXFIN^™ and the business unit’s entire product portfolio for layers. Kannan then took on the role of general manager of marketing and aqua sales for the business unit. In 2017, he became director of marketing and aqua business for Kemin Animal Nutrition and Health – South Asia.

Prior to joining Kemin, Kannan spent five years working as a quality control chemist in animal feed production and spice exports.

Kannan received his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Bharathiyar University in Coimbatore, India and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Indira Gandhi National Open University in New Delhi. Most recently, he earned his diploma in Strategic Human Resource Leadership from Cornell University.
