FORTIUM® T Line - Natural Shelf Life Extension for High-Fat Foods
FORTIUM® T is a line of robust and label-friendly food antioxidants based on plant-derived tocopherols. These natural antioxidants are effective at protecting a variety of food applications, such as spices, dressings and cereals, from colour and flavour degradation.
Our plant-derived antioxidants have been shown to be especially efficacious in extending the shelf life of food products with a high fat content. FORTIUM T provides a desirable alternative to synthetic antioxidants such as butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA), butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) or tertiary butylhydroquinone (TBHQ).
Kemin delivers versatile antioxidant solutions with both liquid and dry formulations, including synergistic blends featuring plant-based extracts. One key ingredient in our natural antioxidant blends is ascorbyl palmitate (AP), known for its stability and effectiveness.

FORTIUM® RPT40 Liquid
FORTIUM RPT40 Liquid is a label-friendly antioxidant blend of tocopherols, rosemary extract, and ascorbyl palmitate. It effectively protects marine oils like herring and salmon oil, which are highly prone to oxidation due to their polyunsaturated fat content. Studies show it significantly extends shelf life and preserves oil quality over time.
FORTIUM® TG20 Liquid
FORTIUM TG20 Liquid is a natural antioxidant designed to extend the shelf life of animal fats, such as goose fat, which is prone to oxidation due to its high monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fat content. Studies show it effectively protects these fats from lipid oxidation, helping maintain food safety and quality.
