Neumentix™ Spearmint Extract for Cognitive Support

This naturally-sourced spearmint extract is clinically shown to support focus during the day without disrupting sleep at night.1 The antioxidant polyphenols in Neumentix promote new brain cell growth and support a function of the brain called working memory; thus improving the ability to learn, manage information and react. Neumentix provides both cognitive and physical performance benefits and can be formulated into a variety of applications.

    Formulations with Neumentix can claim:3-4

  • Improves cognitive function by supporting working memory
  • Promotes more productive days without disrupting sleep
  • Helps you stay focused on tasks
  • Improves agility and reaction performance

What is working memory?

Working memory is part of short-term memory that allows you to store and manipulate information while working on another task. It is controlled by the prefrontal cortex and hippocampus. Working memory supports cognitive abilities such as sustained attention, focus and concentration. There's also evidence to show working memory supports physical performance, such as movement and reaction time.6

Research suggests working memory can naturally decline about 10% per decade - starting as early as our 20s.6

How does Neumentix's Phenolic Complex help working memory?

Neumentix's Phenolic Complex - a unique combination of polyphenols from our spearmint - has been clinically tested and shown to naturally support working memory in adults.3 These polyphenols act in the brain as antioxidants, to increase neurotransmitter levels, to protect neurons and to promote neural growth.5  This Phenolic Complex contains more than 50 phenolic compounds, including Rosmarinic Acid, Salvianolic Acid, Lithospermic Acid and Caftaric Acid.5

Clinically studied to support cognition

In a 90-day randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled (RDBPC) study, people who took Neumentix showed better quality of working memory compared to subjects who took a placebo. Those who supplemented with Neumentix showed 15% improvement in quality of working memory performance, compared to placebo. Subjects also showed 9% improvement in spatial working memory compared to placebo.

Those supplementing with Neumentix also experienced significant improvements in falling asleep easier and faster at night compared to subjects who took a placebo.

Neumentix has been shown to be safe in animal toxicity and genotoxicity studies. In all human clinical trials, Neumentix has been shown to be well tolerated with no adverse side effects related to the study product.3
