Limiting the spread of disease-causing pathogens is critical to maintaining healthy plants in greenhouses and horticulture facilities. Many times, these pathogens are harbored and spread through contaminated soil, air, hard surfaces, tools, and water systems. OXINE® and PRO-OXINE® Horticulture are highly refined blends of oxychloro species containing purified sodium chlorite that when activated, produce chlorine dioxide. OXINE and PRO-OXINE Horticulture may be used as antimicrobials for water systems to disinfect and control biofilm in irrigation and non-potable water systems for horticultural applications. OXINE and PRO-OXINE Horticulture may also be used as general disinfectants, sanitizers, algaecides, and fungicides for greenhouse and horticulture applications to disinfect hard, non-porous surfaces, treat and prevent algae, fungus, and bacteria, and biofilm.
