Traditionally, antioxidants serving the food industry have included synthetic options such as butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA), butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT), or tertiary-butylhydroquinone (TBHQ). As consumer begins to read and understand ingredient labels, cleaner label food products lacking synthetic ingredients are desired.
