What We Collect
When you use the PolyCog application, we may collect personal data.
When you create a PolyCog account, we collect certain personal data necessary for the creation of your account. This includes your first name, last name, your email address, and a password for your account. You may upload a photo of yourself, and PolyCog will collect permissions to access your mobile device’s camera. Failure to provide certain personal data may make it impossible for PolyCog to provide its services.
In addition to information you voluntarily provide, personal data with respect to your use of PolyCog may be collected. This information includes, without limitation, data about your gameplay and usage and your performance in the game. Currently, this data cannot be used to identify you as the user. PolyCog also utilizes “cookies”. Cookies help us improve the user experience by allowing PolyCog to remember each user’s preferences and track usage data more effectively.
PolyCog may ask for permissions with respect to third-party services, such as Facebook or Google. When you sign into PolyCog with third-party credentials, PolyCog will use those third-party services for authentication. PolyCog may receive certain personal data that you have agreed to provide, including basic information and access to a user’s “friend’s list”. In addition, other permissions may be requested that must be granted by you before the respective information can be accessed. Once the permission has been given, it can be revoked by you at any time. In order to revoke these permissions, please refer to your device settings or contact the Data Controller for support. The exact procedure for controlling application permissions may be dependent on your device and software. Please note that the revoking of such permissions might impact the proper functioning of PolyCog. If you grant permission for the camera and/or contacts, the respective personal data may be processed (i.e. accessed, modified or removed) by PolyCog.
Our Use of Personal Data and Other Information
PolyCog uses personal data consistent with this Policy. Personal data collected allows PolyCog to provide its services, and it is also used for access to third-party accounts, social features, and device permissions, as noted throughout this Policy. PolyCog may use personal data and other non-identifiable data to improve our understanding of PolyCog users and make PolyCog better for all.
Data, including personal data, is kept for the period of time necessary to provide the services requested by you, or as stated in this Policy. At any point in time, you may request that PolyCog deletes your account and personal data, which PolyCog will do unless otherwise prohibited by law.
Please note that PolyCog may send push notifications to your device.
Disclosure of Personal Data
We do not provide your personal information to third-parties for any of their marketing purposes. We may disclose your information with our corporate affiliates, i.e. those entities in the Kemin family of companies. We may also be required to disclose certain information, including personal data, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Other disclosures are outlined throughout this Policy.
Mode and Place of Processing Data
The Data Controller takes appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, and unauthorized destruction of personal data. Processing of personal and other data is carried out using computers and/or IT enabled tools, following organizational procedures and modes strictly related to the purposes indicated. In addition to the Data Controller, in some cases, the data may be accessible to certain types of persons involved with the operation of the site (administration, sales, marketing, legal, system administration) or external parties (such as third-party technical service providers, mail carriers, hosting providers, IT companies, or communications agencies) appointed, if necessary, as data processors by the Data Controller. The updated list of these parties may be requested from the Data Controller at any time. Data is processed at the Data Controller’s operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved with the processing are located. For further information, please contact the Data Controller.

We strongly recommended that you check this page often, referring to the date of the last modification listed at the bottom. If you object to any of the changes to the Policy, you must cease using PolyCog, and you can request that the Data Controller remove your personal data. Unless stated otherwise, the then-current Policy applies to all personal data the Data Controller has about users.
