Kimberly Nelson is a third-generation member of the Nelson family and president of Kemin Textile Auxiliaries, which operates under the name Garmon Chemicals. She has held this position since Garmon Chemicals’ founder retired in 2019. Nelson helped lead Kemin Industries’ acquisition of Garmon Chemicals in early 2018.
Before her current appointment, Nelson served as Kemin Textile Auxiliaries’ business development manager, then general manager in India, helping launch Kemin’s entry into the textiles industry. Prior to joining Kemin, Nelson spent five years in marketing in Hong Kong.
Nelson received her bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University. She earned her master’s degree in luxury and fashion management from Savannah College of Fashion and Design.
