Elevate your IPM program with biological today!

For centuries, rosemary oil has been used as a natural insecticide option. Kemin Crop Technologies harnessed the power of mother nature to design TetraCURB Concentrate, a botanical oil-based, contact miticide-insecticide to manage and repel two-spotted spider mites and soft-bodied insects such as aphids, lygus, mealybugs, or whiteflies on a variety of greenhouse plants, ornamentals, specialty crops, field-grown fruits and vegetables.

Active ingredient TetraCURB

It's not just an oil, it's a smart blend!

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS:

  • Rosemary oil...................50%
  • Liquid emulsifiable concentrate
  • No adjuvant needed

We call TetraCURB Concentrate a SMART BLEND because its concentrate formulation contains an adjuvant and an emulsifier among the main active ingredient.

Why use TetraCURB in your IPM Program?

Growers should consider horticultural oil-based biopesticides to elevate their integrated pest management program.

Biopesticides can help mitigate population and avoid the risk of pesticide resistance, which can help growers like you produce the highest quality crops and plants.

Biopesticides are also safer and a sustainable alternative to synthetic pesticides.

How Does TetraCURB Concentrate Work?

Multiple Modes of Action

Leveraging our understanding of plant science and pest management, the TetraCURB Concentrate smart blend formulation acts through multiple modes of action to target pests.

The spray contact and excellent coverage kill mites and small, soft bodied-insects, resulting in quick knockdown and high mortality.

Because the TetraCURB Concentrate smart blend provides multiple modes of action, it is more difficult for the pest to develop resistance to the miticide.

TetraCURBConcentrateMOA-1
  1. The rosemary oil targets the octopamine receptor in mites to disrupt their nervous system, causing avoidance behavior, paralysis, and suffocation.
  2. The emulsifier allows for uniform product contact across the plant surface. This provides maximum product efficacy of the action with minimum phytotoxicity.
  3. The soap disrupts cuticular waxes of the insect allowing rosemary oil to quickly penetrate and induce water loss in mites, resulting in desiccation and death.
