Marsha Bro is general manager of Kemin Crop Technologies. Bro has spent her career with Kemin, assuming her current role in 2017.
Bro started as an accounting intern for Kemin Human Nutrition and Health in 2002, during her senior year of college. After graduation, she joined Kemin Human Nutrition and Health as a financial accountant. She was promoted to senior financial accountant a year later. In 2006, Bro became international accounting manager and began conducting operations and budget analysis for Kemin Human Nutrition and Health, North America, as well as offices worldwide. Bro was active in providing financial support to the division’s product development teams.
In 2007, she joined the global business intelligence team. She worked with the IT and finance teams to set up Hyperion BI as a tool for business analysis. Bro also worked with divisions’ marketing teams and the corporate leadership team to conduct external market research and internal business analysis.
Bro moved to the Food Technologies division to manage the marketing department for a year, before helping launch Kemin Personal Care. Her role focused on developing and managing marketing function.
In 2016, she began working in strategic marketing for Kemin Industries, with a focus on increasing marketing impact, building a framework for digital marketing and developing marketing capabilities. She was promoted to her current position a year later.
Bro received her bachelor’s degree and her Masters of Business Administration from Drake University in 2003 and 2009, respectively.
