Riaan Van Dyk is the vice president of marketing and strategy for Kemin worldwide. In his role, Van Dyk works cross-culturally, as well as locally, regionally, and globally to lead the company’s corporate marketing strategies.
Van Dyk brings to Kemin 20 years of experience working in some of the fastest growing health markets in the world while creating and driving core brand strategies to increase market share in the pharmaceutical/life sciences industries. He served as the marketing director for Elanco (a division of Eli Lilly) in Asia Pacific and South Africa where he led a team of marketing and technical managers, pricing consultants, and product launch leaders.
A significant part of his work has been in the animal health industry, with a unique and valuable overlay of experience from working six years in the Asian market.
Van Dyk holds master’s degrees in business and science, as well as multiple bachelor’s degrees in animal nutrition and science. He is fluent in both English and Afrikaans.
