Our Commitment to Technical Expertise:
Not only does Kemin commit to excellence in our research group, but in all of our internal business areas. Our technical service representatives bridge the gap from our labs to those of our customers. Kemin experts use applied knowledge and real-life industry experience to ensure what is discovered in our lab is applied in customers' operations in a manner that will yield the highest possible return on investment.

In 2005, Kemin validated its technical expertise by pursuing the International Organization of Standardization (ISO)/International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 17025:2005 standard, an internationally recognized standard that validates an organization's testing or calibration methods. While ISO 17025 is not required, Kemin chose to be reviewed by third-party accreditation bodies to instill a high degree of confidence in its analysis.

This accreditation was awarded in 2005 to the company’s quality assurance/quality control facility in Singapore in the field of chemical and biological testing by the Singapore Accreditation Council (SAC).  This certification has been audited annually to obtain recertification, demonstrating its ability to consistently meet the stringent requirements of ISO/IEC 17025.

Furthermore, the Nutrisurance Customer Laboratory Services (CLS) facility of Kemin, responsible for analyzing pet food and pet food ingredients in Des Moines, received ISO 17025 accreditation on October 30, 2013 in the field of chemical testing by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA).
