Our line of plant based extracts are proven to delay oxidation, helping to increase the shelf life of a food product. We are one of the few vertically integrated rosemary and spearmint suppliers that controls the entire ingredient production process from seed to finished extract, ensuring 100% traceability. This closed, controlled crop production loop assures our customers of receiving a sustainable, consistent, and traceable supply of Kemin products.

Color and Flavor Stability
Plant-derived and synthetic antioxidants from Kemin preserve the color and flavor of food products. Among two of our best-selling are:
- FORTIUM™ RGT is comprised of Kemin's proprietary rosemary extract and is also available as a synergistic blend of rosemary and green tea extracts. FORTIUM RGT is a versatile combination of rosemary and green tea that complement each other by providing superior protection with minimal impact on flavor, color and odor profiles.
- EN-HANCE™ – These antioxidants are formulated with ingredients proven to protect foods containing fats and oils, such as baking mixes, meat products, nuts, potato chips, oils, cookies, sausages, and cereals.
Kemin is a global leader in liquid antimicrobial technology. To address consumer food safety concerns, our antimicrobials use well-known, accepted, and effective ingredients.
- SHIELD™ – These antimicrobials are specifically formulated to inhibit mold growth in bakery and tortilla products, and extend the shelf life of deli salads.
- BactoCEASE™ and BactoCEASE™ NV – This group of products enhance food safety and extend the shelf life of ready-to-eat meats, fresh meat, fish, and poultry products by protecting against foodborne pathogens and spoilage bacteria. Available in both liquid and dry formulas.
