Bio Emulsifier — A Way to Improve Feed Digestibility

Reducing fat variability in feed and improving lipid absorption can help livestock and poultry producers achieve both efficiency and profitability. Biosurfactants' ability to enhance lipid (fat) digestion is becoming more popular in animal feeds. The addition of a biosurfactant leads to better utilization of energy from feed, resulting in improved feed conversion rates, lower production costs, improved profitability and animal performance. Kemin developed a state-of-the-art biosurfactant designed to enhance digestion and absorb fatty acids and nutrients across all diets. LYSOFORTE Dry™ contains lecithin modified by a unique and patented enzymatic process to create a more powerful biosurfactant containing specific phospholipids.

Enzymes

Enzymes promote efficient animal production because they assist in the breakdown of complex and varying substrates coming either from wheat or corn/soya based diets and from rations including a variety of alternative raw materials. Enzymes have become an important tool for nutritionists to keep feed costs under control, even more, important under today’s economic and environmental situation. Carotenoids — Quality Egg Nutrition Solution

For more than 20 years, Kemin has collaborated with egg producers in creating carotenoid products for optimum egg yolk quality and nutrition. These goals and relationships help bring billions of quality eggs to consumers every year. Humans and animals usually cannot synthesize carotenoids, which is why it's important to supplement carotenoids within the diet.

Through extensive research and trial studies, Kemin has shown lutein, a carotenoid nutrient, and xanthophyll are not only efficient in promoting consistent egg pigmentation, but may play an important role in development and physiological functions such as antioxidant activities, regulation of cell proliferation and enhancement of immune function. These all translate to better eye care, skin hydration, cognition, eye health in babies and most recently, carotenoids have been found to help fight against the harmful effects of blue light at all ages.1

Bioavailability Using Rumen Protection

To meet demands, research shows dairy cows perform best with an efficient total mixed ration (TMR) diet containing rumen protected lysine and methionine because they provide higher levels of bioavailable amino acids to the cow.
