Our plant-derived antioxidants have shown to be especially efficacious in extending shelf life of food products with a high fat content. FORTIUM provides a desirable alternative to time-tested synthetic antioxidants such as butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA), butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) or tertiary butylhydroquinone (TBHQ).
Kemin offers both liquid and dry formulations as well as synergistic blends with plant-based extracts.
One of the ingredients included in the Kemin antioxidant product line is ascorbyl palmitate (AP) and blends containing AP, which Kemin can offer from RSPO* certified sustainable palm oil (*Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil).
