Kemin Food Ingredients strengthens Asia presence
SINGAPORE – June 3, 2009 –
Kemin Food Ingredients announces the appointment of Harish Methil as vice
president of the Asia Pacific region. In
this role, Methil will manage the rapidly developing Asian business.

delighted to have someone of Harish’s experience and business acumen to lead
this enterprise,” said K.P. Philip, president of Kemin Food Ingredients. “Our customers deserve the type of leadership
that Harish will bring to the Kemin Food Ingredients team. I’m confident he’ll serve the team and our
customers well.”
Prior to his recent appointment, Methil served as vice president of operations
for Kemin Agrifoods Asia. He joined
Kemin in 1999 to oversee the building of an agrifoods plant in Gummidipoondi,
Chennai. Prior to joining Kemin, Methil
was a project manager for the Murugappa Group.
He also managed a commercial construction company in Saudi Arabia and
provided project management consulting for several industrial projects. Methil has a Bachelor of Science in
engineering from the University of Calicut, India and a Masters of Business
Administration from the University
of Chicago.
