Dr. Angela Schröder |
Dr. Angela Schröder joined Kemin January 2008 as Technical Support Manager Ruminants for Northern Europe. Dr. Schröder is based in Germany. Dr. Schröder graduated from the University of Kiel, Animal Production in Germany in 1982 . She received her PhD in Agricultural Sciences in 1987 on Ruminal degradability of different protected soybean meals in dairy cows. As a post-doctoral scientist she held different positions within the Institute of Animal Nutrition and Physiology of the University of Kiel. The main topic she worked on was the Evaluation of the potential of glycerol as a by-product of biodiesel production in diets for ruminants. In 1999 Dr. Schröder became Technical Support Manager of Dr. Pieper Technologie- und Productentwicklung GmbH in Wuthenow, Germany. This involved presentation of concepts based on scientific results and practical experiences, consulting activities in feeding at farm level and involvement in planning, management, realisation and evaluation of trials concerning silage quality and nutrition of high yielding dairy cows.
