 Luis Conchello is a veterinarian. He graduated in Veterinary Medicine and Health at the University of Zaragoza, Spain. He obtained an MBA from the Technical University, Madrid and he decided to specialize in Marketing Management at the Institute in Business Management of Madrid. He obtained a Master’s degree in Foreign Trade, from the Pontifical University of Vatican, Madrid. He has developed his expertise mainly in the areas of Animal Health and Marketing. He initially worked in the Food Safety sector as a Public Health Inspector for the Spanish Government. Later he worked in the Animal Nutrition and Health activities as an Animal Health Controller for the Madrid Public Authorities. In the late eighties he worked as a consultant in animal health for feed additives companies. Eighteen years ago he joined Kemin, first as a Sales Manager in Spain, and later became Marketing Manager, South Europe. For the last 9 years he has been based at the headquarters in Herentals, Belgium, working as a Product Manager concerning both Marketing and Technical sides. His main focus is on developing nutritional solutions for the changing needs for the agro-food market, principally on feed safety and feed hygiene. Recent publications: (1) Conchello, L. (2007).
