Kemin sits on a 26-acre campus on the city's southeast side. This location houses our state-of-the-art Innovation Center research facility, offices and production facilities. Three other sites are located in the Des Moines area housing additional production and administrative needs. Iowa is centrally located in the heart of North America, a welcoming place to live. With the Missouri River to the west and the Mississippi to the east, Iowa is the only state bordered by two navigable rivers. What is the dress code? Kemin wishes to provide a work environment that is professional, meets General Manufacturing Practices and is free of safety hazards. Therefore, it is very important that our team members are dressed appropriately for their job function and comply with all applicable GMP and safety standards. Monday through Thursday business casual attire may be worn. Friday is designated as “casual” and appropriate casual attire may be worn. Uniforms are provided for our Production team. Lab coats are provided for those working in the labs.
