Each year Leen Van Genechten, Manager of Human Resources for Kemin AgriFoods Europe, and friends raise funds for cancer research by organizing a two day sporting event. Activities included in the event are jogging, cycling, and walking.
Leen typically spends more than 30 hours organizing this event. In 2006, Leen and her friends were able to raise more than $67,000. Kemin employees contributed to the cause by sponsoring her efforts.
