Pre-requisites:

Qualification: MSc. degree in biochemistry, biology, microbiology, nutritional science etc

Experience: min. 5 years in a managerial position with sales and/or R&D responsibilities.

Responsibilities: Responsible for technical matters and budgets in sales and product development.

Tasks:

• Participate in and contribute to the growth of Kemin Japan Division
• Contribute with technical and industry expertise to the development and completion of the Kemin Japan business-plan
• Lead the technical activities in Kemin Japan
• Be a full partner in the techni-sales team and visit customers to explain technical applications, handle technical concerns, assist customers in product testing
• Screen the industry for product development opportunities and report them as business opportunities. Bring product developments to completion measured by the value of targeted sales.
• Build, utilize and lead a Customer Laboratory Service unit
• Provide the technical input for Kemin literature
• Build and nurture the technical image of Kemin as a professional and scientific partner
• Train new staff on Kemin product application
• Maintain a documented overview of all technical activities
• Report monthly progress against the technical targets as laid out in the business plan
• Responsibility for the assigned sales budget and forecast achievement.
• Supporting Kemin's distribution network and facilitating negotiations between Kemin's distributor, customers and Account Manager.
