Major Responsibilities: The Manager of Marketing provides marketing leadership for Kemin businesses in China. Working closely with other functions, the Manager of Marketing will play a key role in driving company strategic and business plan development and implementation as well as leading the identification and qualification of product opportunities particularly in the Product Innovation Process (PIP). The Manager of Marketing has overall responsibilities for Kemin’s gross margin positions in China. The Manager of Marketing is a member of the Kemin China Executive Team. Develop better understanding of the feed market in China, drive segmentation, targeting and positioning of the Kemin business in China Work closely with other functions of the company to drive the development and implementation of the Kemin China strategic plans as well as the development of territory marketing and business plans Provide strategic direction for new product development and product positioning in concert with research, commercial and operations, and lead the marketing/business development portion of the Product Innovation Process (PIP) Ensure Kemin China achieves its annual gross margin and market share objectives Building a leading position for the Kemin brand in China; lead product branding, marketing and public relations efforts Develop strong cooperative relationships with key customers; advertising/public relations agencies and trade journals to further strengthen the corporate image, brand image and credibility of the Kemin Participate in WW Kemin efforts associated with brand and market development Identify potential acquisition targets for new technologies that would compliment the current Kemin company product portfolio Motivate and develop staff within the Marketing Department, and provide incentive through the active use of the career development activities and SMART goals
